アキラに塔矢名人四冠達成に対する祝意を伝えたものの、軽く受け流された尹先生のセリフ。

He's a bit cool when it comes to his father ...
意外とそっけない息子だな

when it comes to ～で「話が～になると」。
「to の後に動名詞（または名詞）をとる表現」としてネクステに記載あり。
この表現のto は不定詞を作るto ではないと書かれていたけど、後ろに（動）名詞が来るならたぶん前置詞よね。

it は特に意味を持たない、訳す必要のないit ？とりあえず形式主語ではないだろう。
デュアルスコープに「ばく然とした状況を表すit 」ていうのと、「とくに意味はなく、文を整えるためにあるit 」ていうのが載ってるんだけど、正直両者の違いが全然分からない(￣▽￣)
