タイトル戦に全部勝つといくらもらえるんだというヒカルの問いに対するアキラの答え。

There are 8 titles in all, and if you win them all you get a total of ￥120 million.
全部で八冠賞金総額は一億二千万くらいさ

出た！120 million... (￣▽￣)

英語の数字って苦手。
リスニングだとまず聞き取れない。数が大きくなると特に。

たとえ "one hundred million yen" って聞き取れたとしても、次はそれを数字に起こすことができないという問題が……。
だいたい文字で￥120 million って見ても理解するのに時間かかるからなあ。
日本語でも決算短信とか見てるとよく「120百万円」とかいう書き方出てくるけど、これも百万、千万、一億、って桁を数えないと分からない( ；∀；)

ちなみにコミックでは￥120 million について、approximately $1 million と注釈があって、1ドル120円の時代だったのねーとしみじみ。
またそんな円安の時代が来るんだろうか。
